Grape Varieties – 100% Gamay.

Harvest & Vinification – The Gamay grapes are not de-stemmed in order to do a carbonic maceration. The alcoholic and malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at 25-30°C with a light filtration before bottling.

Tasting notes

This wine has a deep purple colour with glints of scarlet. The nose is concentrated with aromas of ripe red fruits – strawberries, raspberries – and on the palate these develop into kernel fruit flavours – plums. Delicate, soft tannins. A very pleasant wine.

Food pairing

Perfect accompaniment to starters e.g. terrine of any sort and cold meats. Would go very well with duck confit. Mellow cheeses would work too.
