Region – Bordeaux, Montagne Saint Emilion
Soil – Clay-chalk soil, on a plâteau
Grape Varieties – 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Harvest & Vinification – Grapes harvested mechanically and sorted by hand. Fermentation lasts 3-4 weeks in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats.
Aging – 12-14 months in 1- and 2-year old oak barrels.
Vegan – No
Deep red in colour, lashings of coffee and mocha on the nose. The palate is full of rich red berries and dark fruits, all brought to life in the glass with a bright garnet colour. Soft and succulent and lingering. (Simon)
