Region – Bordeaux, Entre-Deux-Mers
Grape Varieties – 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon; 10% Cabernet Franc
Harvest & Vinification – This is a maceration wine, left in contact the pulp, the skin of the berries as well as the pips. During the alcoholic fermentation, pumping over is used to extract aromas and structures. The alcoholic fermentation lasts on average 3 weeks.
Aging – 50% in used barrels for 12 months; 50% in stainless steel vat.
Vegan – No
A lovely garnet color, limpid with pink hues. The nose is frank, with aromas of red and black fruits – redcurrants, blackcurrants – and toasty, vanilla notes. A full-bodied, supple and balanced wine, with silky tannins and a pleasant fruity finish. (Sylvaine)
