Region – Pessac Leognan, close to centre of Bordeaux
Soil – Compact clay-gravel.
Grape Varieties – 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot
Harvest & Vinification – Grapes harvested and sorted by hand. Fermentation lasts 3-4 weeks in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats.
Aging – 12 months in new and used oak barrels

Deep purple in colour, this is a bold and fresh wine, which develops aromas of red fruits punctuated with spicy notes. It is rugged and natural, with the earthiness of ferns and tobacco, all the while lifted by the ripeness of fruit. It is dense and wild but masterfully contained; a wine to sit back and savour.
Grilled and roast meat and poultry and cheese.
