Region – Bergerac
Soil – clay-limestone and flint
Grape Varieties – 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon; 10% Cabernet Franc.
Harvest & Vinification – The wine is a maceration wine, left in contact the pulp, the skin of the berries as well as the pips. During the alcoholic fermentation, pumping over is used to extract aromas and structures. The alcoholic fermentation lasts on average 3 weeks.
Aging – In stainless steel tanks
Vegan – No
Beautiful garnet color with pink highlights, deep and limpid. The bouquet, intense and charming, which mixes aromas of candied red and black fruits with spicy notes. The palate is full-bodied and round with velvety tannins, which linger on the finish with hints of cherry stones. (Sylvaine)
